- For the first time since its introduction in 1970, the Las Vegas chapter won the Wild West Council Rogers Trophy.
The Rogers Trophy takes its name from "Mr. IMA" H. Leslie "Les" Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a prominent Los Angeles-area Certified Public Accountant who served as a National Director, a National Vice President and President (1963-1964) of the organization of national IMA officers and directors, the Stuart Cameron McLeod Society.
"The award is made to the chapter obtaining the highest banner ranking in either the Stevenson or the Warner
Las Vegas Chapter wins Wild West Council Rogers Trophy
competition. In case of tie (4th in the Stevenson vs. 4th in the Warner), the award shall be made to the chapter obtaining the highest percentage ranking
in relation to the winning chapter in their respective competition."
