Happy New Year, and I wish you all a successful year.
We are planning exciting events for this spring semester to reach out to UNLV and CSN students.
Our goal for this spring is to expand our activities and to include CSN students.
In February, we will have an IMA social event with Beta Alpha Psi at UNLV. The students will have chance to talk to the professionals and ask questions about their career path.
UNLV Career Day 2010 will be on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Thomas & Mack Center. Many students stopped by our booth at the last fall UNLV Career Day to ask questions about the CMA certification. I hope many students will visit our booth to learn more about out us and the new CMA exam format.
In March 2010, we will invite Beta Alpha Psi students to join our 1st Annual IMA Grand Prix Fundraiser event.
The UNLV 2010 spring semester begins on January 11th. I hope to embrace the last fall’s success and expand to reach out more students, and many IMA members will come forward to support and participate at our future events.
